Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing, is an invitation to open all five senses and experience a meditative walk in the woods. As Dr. Qing Li says in his book Forest Bathing, “All we have to do is accept the invitation. Mother Nature does the rest.” The workshop begins with a short yoga practice to open the body/mind to be receptive to the experience.
There is no medicine you can take that has such a direct influence on your health as a walk in a beautiful forest. ~ Dr. Qing Li
